Welcome to Maslina, where you’ll be greeted by a sense of warmth and comfort the moment you step inside. Soft, dimmed lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, gentle music fills the space, and the aromas from our kitchen instantly take you back to your fondest memories – the family table and friends, laughter and conversations over plates of fine, warm food.
Our restaurant and terrace are located right in the heart of Rijeka, on Kobler Square, which once was the belly of the city – the main market – and even today, this little corner is filled with love for food and hospitality.
From the late 18th to the early 20th century, Kobler Square was called the Green Square (Zeleni trg), and as Rijeka’s main market, it was truly the city’s belly – a place where fresh produce was traded, recipes exchanged, and everyday life thrived. Although the market eventually moved, the spirit of taste and gathering has never disappeared.
Today, our Maslina continues that gastronomic tradition on the very same square, combining local flavors with the warmth of the Mediterranean table – just like in the old days.
